The Body Shop Tea Tree Haul
So, as you can tell by the title, I went to The Body Shop, armed with a coupon and a pretty good idea of what I wanted to purchase. After reading a few other reviews of the Tea Tree line, I figured it might be a good option for me. Now, for those of you who don't know, I have very oily skin with the odd breakout, with large pores on my nose and t-zone, and I feel like I've tried every product under the sun to help with this. The Body Shop also has another product line - their Seaweed line, which is mainly used for clarifying and mattifying. This line worked pretty well for me, but I don't feel like it made enough of a difference to my skin to warrant me purchasing it again. On the plus side, it did smell amazing.
This brings me to the smell. I'm sure it would be obvious, but if you don't like the smell of Tea Tree oil or anything like this, YOU WILL PROBABLY NOT LIKE THIS PRODUCT. All of the items contain organic tea tree oil, and the scent is not subtle. For me, that is a great thing, I love tea tree oil, and I was raised on that stuff to get rid of blemishes back in the day. But... yeah, I digress - if you don't like tea tree oil, or consider the smell to be too strong, you might need to look into another product line.
Here is what I purchased! Click READ MORE for my reviews of the products.

Ipsy Glam Bag Review - June 2014
Helloooo!
I've decided to do a review of my June 2014 Ipsy glam bag, which I received after work today. I'm the kind of person who rabidly stalks the mail, and follows the shipping notices like they're going to miraculously change every 5 seconds. Because Ipsy does a great job of sending out the Canadian bags pretty early, I generally get mine about a week after they start shipping. Of course, BECAUSE I have no self-control, and because I can't allow myself to be surprised, I already knew what I was receiving in my Glam Room.
Here is my bag, in all its glory.

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure
Hey hey!
I've never been one to blog, but I'm excited by the concept of blogging opinions and product reviews, since I always seem to have an opinion on something. Today, I'll be reviewing and talking about the Broadway Nails imPRESS press-on manicures, which I received for review from Influenster.
The nails I tried were a pink and purple leopard print, which is kind of funky, but not necessarily something I would have chosen for myself. The two sets come in fun little packaging, which mimics a nailpolish bottle. In order to access the nails, you "twist" off the top, and the clear container unhinges.
(The style on the left is the one I chose)
So, the instructions tell you to lay out all the nails, once you decide which ones will fit on your fingers. This is where I struggled a bit! Apparently my thumb nails are itty bitty, so while I was able to find some smaller options to fit my other nails, none of them were the right width for my thumbs. Because of this, there was a bit of overflow onto the skin of my thumbs, which wasn't the most comfortable. That problem aside though, the nails were incredibly easy to apply - you just peel off the little clear cover, and stick the nails onto the natural nail. Within just a few moments, the nails adhere, and you're left with a pretty convincing manicure!
Tadaaaaa!
In closing, I don't think I would purchase these myself, but I do think they're a great option for people who do not want to take the time to keep up on their nails. I have so many nailpolishes that it would be a travesty to not take advantage of it. Taking the nails off was fine, but I did find that there was some glue leftover afterward... I think I may have taken them off pre-emptively, instead of letting them run their course.
I didn't have any issues with day to day tasks, because the nails are quite short, but I did get quite a few compliments from patients in the office.
Let me know if anyone tries these, and what you think!
xoxo
Meghan
